Child and Family Therapy in Los Angeles, CA

Helping Kids and families

If you are struggling watching your child struggle, I understand how difficult that can be. You may be noticing that your child is having a hard time with their feelings. They may be more afraid, nervous or anxious than usual. They may be having a tough time with friends or with family members.

You might notice that they are more tearful, quiet or less social than usual. As a parent, you might feel embarrassed to open up about what you’re really going through, even to family and friends.

You want to support your child’s inner world- you want them to feel confident, comfortable and connected to those around them. Having their emotions heard, validated and supported can make all the difference for our kiddos and even teens and young adults. Getting help from a therapist like me can help you talk freely about what’s bothering you and to start the conversation.

I'm Dr. Adriane Kruer and I am a psychologist who is uniquely qualified to help you help your child feel better. As a Child and Family Psychologist by training, I bring over 13 years of experience to the therapy process.

I hold a Master's Degree in Art Therapy from NYU and often use this approach with kids and their families. My style when working with kids and their families, is approachable, kind and collaborative.

I believe that the relationship that kids forge with their emotions at a young age serves them throughout their lives. I love to collaborate with parents to help children to feel connected, whole and grounded when feeling big feelings.
